Student Events
The LISD coordinates numerous, county-wide, academic events for Lenawee students in elementary school, middle school, and high school. Local district participation varies by event. If you are a local student interested in participating, contact your local school office. The following student events are offered during the school year:
Debate
Debate is offered for students in 9th through 12th grade. Debate scrimmages traditionally take place in the fall, with the tournament scheduled in the winter.
Equations
Equations is offered for students in 5th through 12th grade. Scrimmages take place during the fall and winter months, with the Super Tournament scheduled for spring.
Spelling Bee
Spelling Bee is offered for students in 3rd through 5th grade. The Spelling Bee traditionally takes place in the spring.
