Adrian - Want to make a difference for a family living in crisis? “Do it with diapers!” says Lisa Eack, Parent Liaison with the Lenawee Great Start Parent Network. This is the fourth year that the Lenawee Great Start has collected diapers. The community donated over 6,000 diapers which helped Lenawee County families last year. There are over 500 babies in Lenawee County living in families below the poverty level and babies need between 6 and 10 diaper changes a day. Disposable diapers can cost a family up to $75 a month and safety net programs such as W.I.C.
