Our Parent Cafes Started October 3rd and will continue till the end of December. Some of you may be wondering what a Parent Cafes is and what to expect. Parent Cafes are a great way for parents to network with other parents and have meaningful, guided conversations about what matters most, our families and how to make them stronger! The Cafes are based on the Five Protective Factors. These Five Protective Factors are Social Connections, Parental Resilience, Concrete Support in Times of Need, Social and Emotional Competence of Children, and Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development. Studies have shown that when these Five Protective Factors are strong so are the families.

Parenting can be overwhelming and hard sometimes, parents are not alone and shouldn’t feel alone. The Cafes are a great reminder of that and a great way for parents to connect with other parents.
